Parasailing in Mazatlan Mexico | Kayaking the Nantahala North Carolina |
The photo on the left shows me landing on the beach at Mazatlan, Mexico after parasailing out over the Pacific Ocean. It was a fun trip while up but the landing was kinda scary. I was afraid my legs wouldn't hold me up upon landing --- but they did.
The photo above and on the right, shows Jim Grove, Jackie Taylor and me taking off on a trip down the Nantahala River in North Carolina. The river had some class 3 falls but, all in all, was an easy trip. The Ocoee River, near by, is a different stroy. It was used for recent Olympic kayaking events. Needless to say, I didn't attempt to run the Ocoee but Jim and Jackie did and had to abort before the end of the run --- just too rough.
